SE Asia Travel Specialist job, based remotely in the UK, within the luxury travel industry, offering a competitive salary plus benefits. This is a senior sales and itinerary design role covering tailor-made travel across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia, client relationship management and destination expertise across Southeast Asia.

Our Customer
Our client is a well-established, UK-based tour operator specialising in bespoke Southeast Asian travel. Known for meticulous itinerary design and genuine destination expertise, they create memorable journeys for discerning travellers exploring Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia.
They are now seeking a SE Asia Travel Specialist to join their team — someone who combines strong sales ability with deep regional knowledge to convert enquiries into bookings and deliver an exceptional client experience from first enquiry through to return home.
The Role
In this fully remote role, you will manage the full sales and itinerary journey for clients travelling to Southeast Asia — combining destination expertise, creativity and commercial drive to deliver exceptional, tailor-made journeys.
- Convert inbound leads into confirmed bookings, consistently achieving strong conversion rates
- Design tailor-made itineraries across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia, reflecting each client’s interests, preferences and budget
- Build trusted client relationships through excellent communication and a premium, personal service approach
- Collaborate with trusted ground handlers to ensure every itinerary element is executed seamlessly
- Stay current on Southeast Asian destinations, properties and emerging travel trends to sharpen product knowledge
- Manage your own pipeline and workload with strong organisation and follow-through
- Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries across multiple channels
- Identify opportunities to improve the client journey and support wider business objectives

Experience Required
- Proven experience designing and selling luxury tailor-made itineraries across Southeast Asia
- Deep destination knowledge of Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia.
- Strong sales track record with a proven lead-to-booking conversion rate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — confident with high-value, discerning clients
- Strong organisational and time management skills — able to manage multiple itineraries simultaneously
- Self-motivated and disciplined in a fully remote working environment
