Role Description
The Southern EMEA Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Shiplake, focused on managing and growing a portfolio of customers across Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, understanding client objectives, and aligning Expana’s agrifood intelligence solutions to their commercial and strategic needs.

The Account Manager will:

- Conduct regular account reviews
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Coordinate closely with product, marketing, and analytics teams to deliver tailored insights and value-added services
- Prepare and lead client meetings
- Manage contract renewals
- Track account performance
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Monitor regional market trends
- Provide feedback to internal stakeholders
- Represent Expana at relevant industry events in the Southern EMEA region
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management or customer success, ideally within data, SaaS, agrifood, commodities, or market intelligence sectors
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing renewals, negotiations, and revenue growth across multi-country territories
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
- Ability to analyze market data and customer usage patterns to identify opportunities, risks, and actionable insights
- Fluency in English and strong proficiency in at least one Southern EMEA language (e.g., Spanish, Italian, French, Arabic, or Portuguese) is highly beneficial
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, analytics) to deliver integrated solutions to customers
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Agribusiness, International Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to travel within the Southern EMEA region
