Drive Strategic Growth with Global Enterprise Clients

We're looking for an experienced Southern Europe Enterprise Account Manager to join our growing European Commercial team and play a key role in strengthening and expanding relationships with some of our most strategic customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded relationship-builder who enjoys working with senior stakeholders, uncovering opportunities, and helping clients achieve meaningful business outcomes through data and market intelligence.
About the Role
As Southern Europe Enterprise Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of high-value enterprise clients across France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. You'll be responsible for nurturing long-term partnerships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring clients maximise the value they receive from Expana's solutions.
Working closely with internal teams across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Data Science, you'll act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate market challenges and identify new opportunities using Expana's intelligence and insights.
Our clients span a range of industries including food and beverage manufacturing, retail, foodservice, and financial services, with many operating on a global scale.
What You'll Be Doing
Account Management & Growth
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts across Southern Europe.
- Deliver strong customer retention and identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Develop tailored account plans that align client goals with Expana's solutions.
- Lead renewal discussions and support commercial negotiations.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the wider product portfolio.
- Consistently achieve revenue and growth objectives.

Building Trusted Client Partnerships
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, finance, risk, commercial functions, and executive leadership teams.
- Conduct regular business reviews that demonstrate value, outcomes, and return on investment.
- Understand clients' strategic priorities and connect them with relevant market intelligence solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers make informed business decisions.
Collaboration & Customer Advocacy
- Partner with Customer Success, Product, Data Science, and Commercial colleagues to deliver an outstanding client experience.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback to influence future product development and go-to-market initiatives.
- Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and pipeline information within Salesforce.
- Represent Expana at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings across Europe.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Significant experience in enterprise account management, customer growth, or enterprise sales within SaaS, market intelligence, data, analytics, or information services.
- Proven success managing complex enterprise accounts and delivering retention and revenue growth.
- Experience building relationships with senior decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to articulate business value and ROI.
- Experience managing renewals, negotiations, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, organised, and results-focused approach.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
- Experience within agricultural commodities, food ingredients, supply chain intelligence, or related sectors.
- Knowledge of procurement analytics, price risk management, or financial information services.
- Fluency in French and experience working across Southern European markets.
- Experience supporting multinational organisations across multiple regions and business units.
