Your purpose will be: To support the delivery of an exceptional, luxury spa and wellness experience by maintaining immaculate facilities, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every area of the spa reflects the high standards of Fairmont. The Spa Attendant plays a vital role in creating a calm, welcoming and beautifully presented environment that enhances each guest’s wellbeing journey.

Job Description

  • Maintain all spa, wellness and changing areas to a pristine, 5-star standard throughout the day
  • Ensure towels, robes, amenities and refreshments are replenished and beautifully presented
  • Prepare and reset relaxation spaces, thermal areas and poolside to support a seamless guest experience
  • Assist guests with lockers, amenities and general facility use in a warm, attentive and discreet manner
  • Demonstrate professionalism, consistency and a strong “One Team” approach in line with Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere values
  • Observe all Health & Safety regulations while on the premises
  • Follow procedures for accident reporting, maintenance faults, fire safety and emergency evacuation
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in line with departmental SOPs
  • Maintain the company dress code and present a polished, professional appearance at all times
  • Support therapists by preparing treatment rooms when required
  • Handle guest enquiries courteously and ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for
  • Attend training sessions to enhance skills and support continuous development
  • Participate in meetings as required
  • Carry out front-of-house or back-of-house duties as requested by management
  • Undertake any additional tasks necessary to support the smooth operation of the spa

Qualifications

  • 6–12 months of experience in a spa, leisure, housekeeping or luxury hospitality environment (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations
  • Warm, approachable and service-focused manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and confidence interacting with guests
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety and cleanliness protocols
  • Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development
  • Ability to work as part of a supportive, collaborative team
