Role Description
The Spa Manager at HEDD is a contract, on-site role based in Penarth, responsible for overseeing daily spa operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This includes supervising staff, managing treatment schedules, monitoring service quality, and maintaining a calm, organized environment. The Spa Manager will handle budgeting and inventory, track performance metrics, and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The role also involves supporting marketing and promotions, resolving client concerns, coordinating training for team members, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. The Spa Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to align spa services with HEDD’s brand and business goals.

Qualifications

- Experience in Spa Management, including daily operations oversight and staff supervision.
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Proficiency in Budgeting, scheduling, and basic financial tracking within a spa or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of Skin Care treatments, products, and best practices to support service quality and staff guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience working in spa, salon, wellness, or hospitality environments; management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with booking and POS systems, and basic digital literacy for reporting and correspondence.
- Ability to work on-site in Penarth, including flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends.
