The Role
As Spa Manager, you will lead a team of therapists, alongside our Spa receptionists and attendants. You will be responsible for ensuring every treatment and every stage of our guests’ spa journey delivers a world-class experience consistent with the St Michaels brand.
This is also a key commercial and leadership position. We are looking for someone who can build on the Spa’s award-winning reputation while helping shape its future direction, developing our people, growing the business and continually evolving the guest experience.

You Will Be Responsible For
- All aspects of Spa performance, including sales, profitability, guest satisfaction, team development and overall operational performance.
- Developing and delivering the future direction and strategy of St Michaels Spa, supported by our Marketing, Finance and Executive teams.
- Planning and implementing sales and marketing activity, alongside forecasting, budgeting and reporting for the year ahead.
- Driving treatment, retail and overall Spa performance.
- Recruiting outstanding people with the support of our Team Relations Manager.
- Developing, coaching and training a talented team of therapists, apprentices and Spa colleagues.
- Maintaining exceptional standards across treatments, facilities, presentation and the complete guest journey.
- Identifying new treatments, innovations, trends and commercial opportunities.
- Managing the continued success and growth of an award-winning Spa business.
About You
You will be:

- Commercially minded, with a demonstrable track record of setting, driving and achieving treatment and retail targets.
- A forward planner who can think strategically while remaining operationally strong and financially astute.
- An excellent and confident communicator, with a natural ability to establish rapport with colleagues and guests alike.
- Genuinely enthusiastic about the Spa and wellbeing industry, staying ahead of emerging treatments, products, trends and innovations.
- Proactive in identifying and implementing new business opportunities.

Experience
- Previous experience of managing, or working as an Assistant Manager within, a significant luxury spa operation.
- Strong experience in business planning, budgeting and sales.
- Proven experience leading, developing and motivating a high-performing Spa team.
The Package
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
- Salary: £40,000pa
