Spa Manager
Reporting to: Spa Director
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Spa Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a prestigious luxury spa environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, hands-on leader who is passionate about exceptional guest experiences, team development, and commercial performance. You will play a key role in ensuring the spa operates smoothly, efficiently, and to consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Lead from the front, ensuring guests receive a warm, professional, and personalized experience.
- Maintain exceptional service standards and resolve guest feedback or concerns quickly and professionally.
- Use guest feedback to continually improve service and team performance.
Commercial & Financial Performance
- Support the achievement of departmental revenue and profitability targets.
- Monitor labour, stock, and operational costs against budget.
- Drive treatment, membership, and retail sales through coaching, incentives, and team engagement.
- Oversee daily financial procedures, reporting, stock control, and cash handling.

- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing Front of House team.
- Recruit and onboard new team members, ensuring effective induction and training.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and coaching.
- Create a positive, professional, and enjoyable team culture.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and standards are clearly understood and consistently followed.
Spa Operations
- Take overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the spa.
- Conduct regular operational and standards checks across all areas.
- Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure the spa is consistently presented to an exceptional standard.
- Oversee the spa diary and booking systems to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain and continually improve operational procedures and standards.
- Deputise for the Spa Director when required.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe working practices are maintained.
- Ensure maintenance issues and incidents are reported and followed up promptly.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational safety throughout the spa.
About You

We are looking for an established Spa Manager or experienced Senior Spa Manager with a strong background in a luxury hotel, resort, destination, or private members' spa.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience managing a luxury spa operation and leading a sizeable team.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, retail, and revenue targets.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people-management skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence managing operational, financial, and performance-related responsibilities.
- A calm, professional, and hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
- Experience with spa booking systems and strong IT skills.
