Spa Sales Team Leader

Responsible for driving Spa revenue for all Red Hotels. Spa reservations “own” any spa break reservations, day spa and treatments further supporting the wider sales team when required. Provides spa operations with support and communication ensuring this is both timely and robust. Although most decisions you will make will be based on our selling strategy at times you will be required to take short/midterm trading decisions based on historical and current trading. The role also ensures a weekly report is issued updating on ongoing spa revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily support to the Reservations and Revenue Manager in all areas
  • Direct priorities of the team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Takes decisions that ensure swift resolutions for our team and guests whilst ensuring these decisions are appropriate
  • Works closely with room reservations to ensure we optimise revenue opportunities and the delivery of guest requirements
  • Prepares team scheduling, rotas and holiday requests
  • In the absence of the Reservations and Revenue manager will take decisions with support from Room Sales Team Leader and or Head of Commercial
  • Manages the daily banking ensuring all finance requirements are achieved
  • Is empowered to take decisions on guest complaint resolution

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a spa sales focused environment
  • Has the ability to understand numbers and how to influence these on short/mid/long term objectives
  • Flexible in approach
  • Can articulate how to drive engagement and delivery through others
  • Has a strong knowledge and passion for spa and wellbeing
  • Previous experience in team scheduling, rota and holiday management
  • Has experience of induction for new team members and a strong ability in the training of others
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Flexibility when working between The Bedruthan and The Scarlet

You’ll be working with our hotel booking system so will need to be highly computer literate and any experience with Hotel Perfect would put your CV on the top of the pile. We’re looking for an organised self-starter who will contribute to our team goals in a busy, fun and buzzing environment.
