Spa Therapist - Accommodation Available to relocate to the area for the right candidate

£26,870 per annum plus Tronc and fantastic benefits - on target earnings of up to £35,000
40 hours per week available - open to full time and part time candidates. Weekday and weekend working with various shifts between 8:30am and 8:30pm

Our Spa Therapists

As a Spa Therapist at The Newt in Somerset, you’ll deliver exceptional, holistic treatments inspired by the estate’s gardens and botanical traditions. You’ll play a vital role in crafting a tranquil environment where guests feel nurtured, renewed, and deeply cared for. With every treatment, you’ll deliver a personalised, 5-star experience while supporting seamless spa operations throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of treatments to a consistent 5-star standard
  • Follow treatment protocols and uphold wellbeing principles
  • Support spa operations and front-of-house during treatment downtime
  • Participate in workshops and guest-facing activities
  • Maintain Health & Safety standards and compliance
  • Ensure treatment rooms meet hygiene and presentation standards
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the wider spa team
  • Provide an exceptional, guest-focused experience at all times

What we're looking for:

  • Strong spa therapist experience
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 Spa Therapy qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Holistic therapy qualifications (desirable)
  • Fluent English
  • Confident communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and organisation
  • Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, can-do approach
  • A collaborative team mindset with a passion for guest care

The Spa at The Newt in Somerset is a nature-led wellbeing space inspired by the estate’s gardens, herbs, and botanical traditions. The Hammam is a key feature of the Spa, offering natural cleansing and heat-based rituals central to our wellness philosophy. Guests also enjoy Rasul, Halotherapy, Steam Room, Sauna, and indoor/outdoor pools. Treatments and products are crafted using estate-grown herbs and botanicals, creating a calm, natural environment focused on real and restorative wellbeing.
