Role Description
This remote Spanish–English Interpreter role at ChukkerApp focuses on providing accurate, timely language support for users and internal teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting real-time conversations between Spanish- and English-speaking participants, ensuring meaning, tone, and context are preserved. The interpreter will facilitate communication in virtual meetings, calls, and chat environments, and may also support written translation needs for platform content, user communications, and support materials. The role includes collaborating with customer support and operations teams to resolve language-related issues, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism, and following ChukkerApp’s guidelines and terminology standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Interpreting and Language Services between Spanish and English.
- Proficiency in Simultaneous Interpretation for live calls, meetings, and virtual sessions.
- Experience with Medical Interpretation in accordance with relevant standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Capability in Translation of short written content, user messages, and support materials.
- Native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent listening and speaking skills.
- Familiarity with interpretation ethics, privacy regulations, and professional conduct.
- Comfort using online communication tools, remote collaboration platforms, and productivity software.
- Prior experience as a professional interpreter or translator; experience in digital platforms or healthcare settings is a plus.
- Relevant training, certification, or coursework in interpreting, translation, or linguistics is preferred.
