Spanish (Spain) Audio Transcriptionist (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your native fluency in Peninsular Spanish could directly shape how AI understands real human conversation? We're looking for detail-oriented transcriptionists based in London with native-level command of Spain Spanish to produce precise, high-quality transcriptions of spoken Spanish audio — helping build the datasets that teach AI systems to truly listen.

London's large and diverse Spanish-speaking population makes it one of Europe's best talent hubs for this work. You'll tackle real-world audio featuring crosstalk, multiple speakers, background noise, and natural speech patterns — turning authentic conversation into clean, structured text. No prior AI experience needed.

Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Listen to audio recordings in Peninsular Spanish and produce accurate, verbatim transcriptions following detailed style and formatting guidelines
  • Handle challenging audio scenarios — including crosstalk, overlapping speakers, filled pauses (e.g., "eh", "mm"), background noise, and varying audio quality
  • Accurately identify and differentiate between multiple speakers within a single recording
  • Apply consistent formatting conventions for timestamps, speaker labels, non-verbal sounds, and unclear segments
  • Flag audio segments that are unintelligible or ambiguous, following established protocols
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all assignments
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
