About The School

Duncombe School, part of Blenheim Schools, is an Independent Day School and Pre-School, nestled in the beautiful town of Hertford, for children aged 2-11 years. As a school we pride ourselves in nurturing our children's minds through an inspiring educational journey and we encourage every child to dream big! We believe success and happiness are not simply defined by outstanding academic results, but by being treated and celebrated as an individual, who is encouraged to develop strength of character and explore fully their personal potential.

About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspirational and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Spanish to Scholarship level, preparing students for examinations and successful progression to a range of selective senior schools.

The successful candidate will be passionate about languages and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning that inspires children to achieve their full potential. You will create engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of Spanish, build confidence and encourage academic excellence.

As well as being an outstanding classroom practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the wider aims and values of the school, promoting the personal, social, emotional and physical development of every child. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing best practice and contributing positively to a supportive and ambitious school community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
