Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time

Hours of work: 39 hours per week

About the Role

As Store Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the success of your store. You’ll lead, motivate, and develop your team, ensuring excellent customer service, strong financial performance, and high operational standards. This is a hands-on role where you’ll set the standard, inspire your colleagues, and create an environment where both people and business can thrive.

Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

Your role will be broad, varied, and focused on people, performance, and compliance, including:

  • Controlling costs and driving sales to maximise profit
  • Maintaining security within the store in line with company procedures
  • Ensuring high store standards in customer service, health & safety, and food hygiene
  • Ensuring legal compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Overseeing and maintaining store administration in line with processes
  • Leading, managing, and motivating colleagues to achieve results
  • Acting as a role model and leading by example in all aspects of store management

Being a successful Store Manager takes dedication, resilience, and the ability to get the very best out of different types of people. We’re looking for someone who can balance strong leadership with operational excellence, and who demonstrates:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a diverse workload
  • The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Clear and confident communication skills
