We're recruiting a Spare Parts & Service Administrator to join the UK service operation of a well-established international manufacturer of weighing, labelling and technical equipment.

This is a varied position sitting at the heart of the service department, supporting customers and field engineers while taking responsibility for spare parts orders, stock, service administration and job coordination.

It's an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in spare parts, engineering service, aftermarket support, parts administration or technical customer service who enjoys working in a busy, fast-moving environment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Processing spare parts orders for field service engineers, internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring parts availability and stock levels
  • Liaising with suppliers and arranging replenishment where required
  • Coordinating parts dispatch and ensuring orders reach customers and engineers on time
  • Responding to customer enquiries regarding parts, orders, and service requirements
  • Supporting the scheduling and allocation of service jobs to engineers
  • Tracking jobs and keeping service records and systems up to date
  • Processing service reports, invoices, and associated documentation
  • Working closely with engineering, technical and sales teams
  • Helping resolve issues around parts availability, service jobs, and customer requirements

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll already have experience within a service, spare parts, engineering, or technical environment.

Experience within machinery, manufacturing, engineering, automotive, print equipment, packaging machinery, materials handling, or another technical service environment would be particularly relevant.

You'll need to be organised, comfortable managing several priorities at once and confident dealing with both customers and engineers.

Experience using an ERP, stock or inventory management system would be advantageous, alongside good Excel and general Microsoft Office skills.
