Job Type: Permanent

Location: Edinburgh, Birmingham or London with time spent in the office and working from home.

Flexible working: All roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process. You can read more about flexible working here.

Salary and benefits: £54,100 to £65,000 depending on experience plus an indicative bonus range of 16% - 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

What you will be doing:

As a Speak Up Investigation Manager, you'll play a key role in helping to maintain a safe, ethical, and accountable culture. You'll lead or support investigations into concerns raised through our Speak Up channels, working independently to establish the facts, deliver fair and evidence-based outcomes, and identify opportunities to strengthen our culture, controls, and ways of working. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business and provide valuable insights that help ensure colleagues feel confident to speak up and be heard.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working within a Speak Up/whistleblowing function with a strong understanding of Speak Up frameworks, governance, confidentiality, and reporter protection.
  • Experience managing concerns raised through Speak Up channels, including case intake, triage, risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and determination of appropriate investigation approaches.
  • Experience managing workplace investigations, including developing investigation plans, gathering, and assessing evidence, conducting interviews and producing clear, well-reasoned investigation reports.
  • Great judgement and the ability to reach fair, balanced and evidence-based conclusion in complex and sensitive situations.
  • Excellent investigative interviewing skills, including interviewing reporters, witness, and subjects of investigations.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify themes, root causes, control weaknesses, and cultural risks and make practical recommendations.
  • Ideally from a financial services background.
