We are seeking a Speaker Engagement Manager to work across our portfolio of Healthcare events. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop and deliver content programmes and monthly newsletters.
Reporting to the Group Content Producer and working alongside Portfolio MDs and Event Managers, you’ll be responsible for speaker research, agenda curation, industry engagement, and event delivery. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Work on the independent content programme for the main Naidex Show (Naidex, Naidex Junior, Business Without Barriers, Neuro Rehab, Care & Dementia) and smaller Naidex South and Naidex North editions.
- Collaborate with Portfolio MDs and Event Managers to design engaging, insight-led agendas.
- Conduct focus groups and research to ensure programmes reflect industry trends and needs.
- Develop monthly newsletters based on your independent findings and industry-specific news and trends.
Speaker Engagement & Management
- Research, identify, and secure high-quality speakers across the relevant sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with speakers, ensuring their participation and satisfaction.
- Support speakers before and during events, including agenda alignment and logistical coordination (travel, accommodation, schedules).
- Maintain and update the speaker database and online agenda platforms.

Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth communication of event direction.
- Support Marketing by advising on and proofreading content-related copy.
- Provide constructive feedback and insights from speakers and customers to management and key stakeholders.
Event Delivery & Support
- Play an active role in onsite event delivery and post-event wrap-up.
- Be flexible with occasional travel and working outside standard business hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in speaker engagement, content curation, or related roles – preference for healthcare sector experience.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of the business landscape and industry trends.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Creative copywriting and proofing ability.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, LinkedIn, and all Microsoft (essential).
- Highly organised, computer-literate, and a collaborative team player.
