Location: London
Rate: £450 per day
Contract: 3 months
Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a large public sector housing provider to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to lead the operational delivery of their voids programme across appointed contractors.
You will be the day-to-day lead on contractor performance, driving quality, safety, turnaround times, and continuous improvement in line with the organisation's void standard.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead operational management of void contractors and day-to-day delivery
- Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and contractual requirements
- Chair contractor performance meetings and drive improvement actions
- Escalate issues, implement recovery plans, and remove barriers to delivery
- Ensure quality standards through inspections, audits, and reporting
- Work closely with service managers to coordinate workloads and maximize productivity
- Produce performance reports and recommendations for senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, statutory duties, and internal procedures

- Strong experience managing social housing repairs and voids contracts
- Confident managing contractor performance frameworks and KPIs
- Hands-on approach to quality control, inspections, and operational problem-solving
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership style in fast-paced environments
- Desirable: experience managing multiple contractors
- Desirable: knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates
