We're looking for an experienced Formula One engineer to lead the Special Projects Group within Aerodynamics. The team combines aerodynamic fundamentals, regulatory knowledge and innovative technologies to drive step changes in performance and development capability.

You'll bring strong F1 experience, a solid understanding of aerodynamics, experimental systems and track testing, and a clear vision for how the group can continue to push innovation and deliver meaningful performance gains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team focused on solving key challenges in aerodynamic performance delivery.
  • Define and drive the Special Projects strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and performance gains.
  • Oversee technical projects from concept through to validation, implementation and operational use.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership across wind tunnel, trackside and test activities to support development programmes.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Significant experience within Formula One, ideally in Aerodynamics, Development, Testing or Performance Engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of aerodynamic principles and their application in a high-performance environment.
  • Extensive experience with wind tunnel operations, experimental techniques and test methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of measurement systems, data acquisition and analysis techniques.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing engineering teams.
  • A passion for innovation and a track record of delivering technical improvements that create measurable performance advantages.
