Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Band 6 Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic Cardiology team. This role is tailored towards an ambitious practitioner who will actively work towards the BSE professional accreditation. Along with a development role, you will support the wider cardiac diagnostic service, maintaining high clinical standards and contribute to the training of student Physiologists.
About the Role
The post holder will be a qualified Cardiac Physiologist required to work as an independent practitioner, to work unsupervised in both invasive and non-invasive areas, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will be required to undertake specialised cardiac physiological tests and procedures on both in patients and out patients, compiling clinical reports and advising clinicians.
The post holder will be provided the opportunity to specialise in echocardiography and supported towards gaining the British Society of Echocardiography professional accreditation.

Key Working Relationships
The Specialized Cardiac Physiologist works collaboratively across a multi-disciplinary network to ensure safe patient pathways. The team includes fellow Physiologists, Cardiographers, Associate Practitioners, Medical staff, and Consultants.
Location
To perform a range of non-invasive and invasive investigations performed within the Cardiology Department at Scunthorpe and Goole Hospital, Scunthorpe Community Diagnostics Centre, and Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby.
