Flexzo Teach | Specialist Tutor EOTAS (Outreach) (In-Person)
Exciting SEND tutoring opportunities in your area with a leading specialist education provider. Flexzo Teach connects exceptional educators directly with local specialist provisions for tailored 1:1 roles. We are currently looking for a skilled Specialist Tutor EOTAS (Outreach) to support a young person in Bromley, London. The setting provides personalised 1:1 SEND tuition for learners who require an individualised approach outside traditional classroom environments. We need someone who practically understands Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and can build the trusted, low-arousal relationship necessary to help a learner re-engage with education.

- 12 hours per week delivered across 5 days, paced entirely around the young person’s daily regulation needs (term-time only, 39 weeks per year).
- Can be fulfilled by a single tutor or split between two. Applications are welcome even if you can only offer partial hours.
- Build genuine connections and deliver meaningful 1:1 outreach support that directly empowers young people with complex needs.
What you need:
- Practical experience supporting complex SEND, with a deep, real-world understanding of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), ASC, and SEMH (formal teaching qualifications are valued, but extensive practical experience is the key factor).
- Expertise in emotional regulation, low-arousal strategies, and building trusting learning relationships.
- Right to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (highly desirable for outreach and community-based support).
