WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
- Execute and monitor Account Marketing plans for covered priority accounts, in collaboration with Client Head(s)
- Support the execution of key sales plays by initiating standard campaign tactics
- Provide ongoing Marketing support to Client Head (Partner) throughout the year by serving as main point of contact for Marketing
- Work collaboratively with other Marketing functions to achieve Bain Marketing’s overarching goals
- Monitor KPIs and performance to help optimize Account Marketing effectiveness
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work directly with Client Head (Partner) to build Account Marketing strategies for covered priority accounts using industry-defined plan as starting point
- Set up Account Marketing programs for accounts; tag team with Manager for select, top client teams
- Provide a comprehensive view of the current state of our relationships at a client, including our outreach to and engagement from the people who matter most
- Stay abreast of executive moves as another key input to the marketing plan
- At direction of Client Head(s) and Manager, refine and tailor annual Account Marketing plan, e.g. share campaign requirements, provide visibility into key conferences and events to invite clients to via the Events CoE, etc
- Ensure Account Marketing plans are aligned with relevant industry and capability marketing strategies
- Ensure accurate and actionable CRM data for covered accounts
- Track account marketing budget to ensure it stays on target
- Support Client Head (Partner) in executing campaigns throughout the year, including direct pursuits:
- In collaboration with Manager, identify opportunities of highest relevance based on pipeline activity and close connection to client team
- Run campaigns with keen eye on relevant campaign schedules and the development, launch, and execution of specific Account Marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze campaign KPIs for covered accounts (e.g. click rates, leads, pitches, Bain.com interest, etc) and where relevant, work with marketing CoEs to optimize campaign
- Have working knowledge of options available to client teams regarding web personalization, LinkedIn campaigns, Elevate, Red Folder, Email campaigns, events, paid search, etc; ensure activities reach key client decision makers by leveraging all available channels
- Provide real-time support for must-win proposals
- Proactively team with Practice Marketing, sharing client-centric intel as input to industry, sector and capability strategy
- As needed, assist with the execution of top-of-funnel campaigns across multiple channels, leveraging a strategic mix of assets, e.g., email, paid media, social media, video, and in-person activations; have working knowledge of options available, when to use and ways to optimize
- Play an active role in our team
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by providing constructive feedback and working hand in hand with colleagues to problem solve.
- Actively embrace the use of new tools, including GenAI, to support and improve overall team efficiency.
- Be a flexible and adaptable team member to support new projects and team needs as they arise.

ABOUT YOU
Required:
- An undergraduate degree in business / marketing
- 3-4+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience
- Expertise and previous experience in marketing programmes and processes
- Ability to proactively conceive and suggest new approaches and solutions
- Demonstrated ability to take a lead on coordinating and executing distinct projects and/or large and regional events, including managing the budget, contributing to objective / goal definition etc.
- Demonstrated ability to understand local office and relevant industry practice marketing objectives and priorities, as well as content
- Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to liaise with stakeholders of various seniorities with minimal input from Manager
- Ability to interact with external contacts / parties as knowledgeable Bain marketing representative
- Client-centric mind set
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, and ability to pivot based on input from senior partners

This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week.
Salary and Benefits
Chicago:
- Annualized full-time salary range: $64,250 - $77,000
- Annual discretionary performance bonus
- This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
- 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
Boston:
- Annualized full-time salary range: $67,000 - $80,500
- Annual discretionary performance bonus
- This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
- 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date

- Annualized full-time salary range is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level.
