Pharmacist

Royal Papworth Hospital is seeking a dynamic pharmacist to join our established trust antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) team and will have a shared responsibility for the leadership and operational delivery of a high-quality antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) programme in line with the agreed priorities for the Trust.

The post holder will be working with the AMS Team to optimise antimicrobials to ensure that infections are effectively treated, patients are protected from the harms caused by unnecessary antimicrobial use and combat antimicrobial resistance.

This role offers the post holder a great deal of flexibility and we would encourage prospective candidates to get in touch to discuss the opportunities available. Royal Papworth AMS Team is a small, close multidisciplinary team and this role will work in collaboration with all clinical directorates. As a pharmacy department we are committed to supporting flexible working and continuous education. Our staff are encouraged to attend conferences and networking events, participate in research and enrol on leadership courses.
