📍 Location: Hybrid / Remote – Leeds and surrounding areas preferred

💷 Rate: £32 per hour (Self-Employed/Zero hours)

💻 Working Pattern: Flexible, predominantly online with some potential face-to-face support

At Talking Minds, we're passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred support to neurodivergent students, helping them thrive throughout their university journey.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Specialist Tutor (Autism Spectrum Conditions – ASC) to join our growing team of Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) support professionals.

About the Role

You'll provide tailored, one-to-one specialist tutoring to university students with autism, supporting them to develop practical strategies to navigate academic life, manage challenges and build confidence and independence.

Support will be delivered predominantly online, although we're particularly interested in applicants based in Leeds or surrounding areas who may be available for occasional face-to-face sessions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience supporting autistic individuals, ideally within higher education.
  • An understanding of the challenges autistic students may experience in university settings.
  • A compassionate, adaptable and person-centred approach.
  • Strong communication, organisational and professional skills.
  • Ideally, applicants who meet the DSA-QAG qualification and experience requirements for Specialist Mentor (ASC) support.
