About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a temporary contract within our learning and assessment team. You will support the ongoing maintenance of existing assessment and learning products, and contribute to the development of new assessment and learning products. Assessment processes will be within your remit, so you will be responsible for making sure they meet all relevant policies and guidance.
You will report to the Lead Manager - Assessment and use a hybrid work schedule.
You Will
- Help produce examination and assessment for learning materials to agreed quality and targets.
- Support and facilitate the end-to-end assessment process as directed. Activities may include support for one or more of recruitment, commissioning, content production and management, review and quality assurance of assessment items, test building, standardisation, marking and finalisation of results.
- Follow regulatory and internal procedures and obligations.
- Produce and maintain plans of work and schedules.
- Keep appropriate systems and records up-to-date.
- Ensure strict version control and excellent document management following agreed internal procedures.
- Maintain the utmost security with regard to materials.
- Perform quality assurance activities related to learning and assessment products.
- Build and formatting of assessment and learning content observing internal style guide and other relevant guidance.
- Manage relevant activities to meet the needs of regulatory oversight.
- Produce and collate relevant data and preparing relevant reports to monitor progress, gain insight into student and assessment performance and support future product development.
- Escalate issues and potential solutions to the Lead Manager - Quality Assurance.
- Work towards the most customer-focused solution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of policy and processes.
- Deputising for the assessment manager(s).

You Have
- Educated to at least GCSE standard.
- Previous experience working in an administrative role.
- Previous experience working in a role which requires similar standards.
- Experience in new systems and ways of working quickly.
