Working in a very friendly and supportive Child Health department, we have an exciting opportunity to work within the Autism Team across North Derbyshire to provide specialist autism assessments for children and young people as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

To provide a range of specialist autism assessments for children across North Derbyshire. In doing so to share complex and sensitive outcomes with parents / carers and professionals.

To analyse and interpret complex data and findings from a variety of sources and share this sensitively in highly emotive situations. To work closely with Paediatric colleagues to deliver diagnostic formulations to colleagues in Health, Social Care and Education.

To plan and manage workload and deliver a service as part of a regular outpatient clinic model with some community-based assessments as required.

To offer supervision, consultation and training and to provide expertise and guidance to other professionals.
