An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Specialist Cardiac Physiologist with a special interest in Heart Rhythm Management to join the Cardiology Investigations team at Ysbyty Gwynedd.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within an expanding Cardiac Rhythm Management service, supporting the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and follow-up care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias and implantable cardiac devices. The successful candidate will be an experienced and motivated practitioner who is committed to delivering excellent patient care while contributing to the ongoing development of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of the Heart Rhythm Management service and also undertaking the independent analysis and reporting of 24-hour, 7-day and 14-day ambulatory ECG recordings.
- Involved in the implantation, follow-up and monitoring of cardiac implantable electronic devices, including participation in physiologist-led device clinics.
- Provide specialist clinical expertise in cardiac rhythm management, support service development, and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care across the department.
- Competent in undertaking physiologist-led Exercise Tolerance Tests (ETTs) for arrhythmia provocation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive and patient-centred heart rhythm management service.

- Registered with AHCS/HCPC or eligible for registration within 6 months of employment
