Job Description

Catch22 is looking for a compassionate and motivated Specialist Caseworker to join our Victim Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver trauma-informed support to victims and witnesses of crime, helping them to cope, recover, and rebuild confidence.

As a Specialist Caseworker, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of adults, children, and young people, providing both practical and emotional support.
  • Ensure victims are fully informed throughout their journey — from understanding their rights and court processes to accessing tailored interventions that meet their specific needs.
  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of partners, including police and voluntary organisations, to help maintain effective referral pathways and provide a seamless, high-quality service.
  • Support the wider team by sharing expertise, developing innovative interventions, and contributing to preventative work.

This is a varied, rewarding role where you can make a real difference in people’s lives while working in a supportive, forward-thinking organisation that values compassion, collaboration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

  • Educated to a good standard, with GCSE-level English and Maths (minimum)
  • Experience supporting vulnerable people, including adults, children, or young people
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and deliver tailored interventions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple agencies
  • IT literate and confident using data management systems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
