Job Description
Catch22 is looking for a compassionate and motivated Specialist Caseworker to join our Victim Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver trauma-informed support to victims and witnesses of crime, helping them to cope, recover, and rebuild confidence.
As a Specialist Caseworker, you will manage a caseload of adults, children, and young people, providing both practical and emotional support. You will ensure victims are fully informed throughout their journey — from understanding their rights and court processes to accessing tailored interventions that meet their specific needs. You’ll also support the wider team by sharing expertise, developing innovative interventions, and contributing to preventative work. This is a varied, rewarding role where you can make a real difference in people’s lives while working in a supportive, forward-thinking organisation that values compassion, collaboration, and empowerment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
