About the Role
To help us be successful in our mission, we are looking for a Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team in Southampton.
37.5 hours per week / Field-Based / Permanent Contract

At Sciensus, you'll work alongside specialist hospitals and treatment centres to support patients receiving oncology therapies, helping them access treatment safely and confidently. This unique role combines direct patient care with practice development, giving you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on both patient outcomes and clinical excellence across our nursing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Seeing between 1 - 8 patients per day
- Recording all clinical data and documenting any adverse drug events via the correct protocol
Requirements
- A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel throughout a regional area (covering Southampton and surrounding areas)

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced and compassionate oncology professional who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care while helping others develop their clinical expertise.
Essential experience/skills:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN), Part 1 NMC Register.
- Recognised Chemotherapy (SACT) Delivery Qualification.
- Experience administering oncology medications within a hospital or community setting
- IV administration, cannulation, and phlebotomy expertise.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of oncology therapies and patient pathways.
- Commitment to person-centred care and clinical excellence.
Desirable experience/skills:
- Clinical teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience.
- Community nursing experience
