About the Role
The Children’s Therapy Services identify, assess, support and manage the health needs of children and young people aged 0-18 years, working closely with children and their families in health settings and family homes; and with education colleagues in early years and school settings.
Responsibilities
As a Specialist Children's Occupational Therapist you will manage your case load independently and carry out a range of therapeutic activities. You will offer clinical expertise and use your knowledge to provide professional care, treatment, advice, guidance and support to children and young people with complex needs.

- Carry out a range of varied therapeutic activities
- Use your knowledge and experience to provide professional care, treatment, advice, guidance and support to referred children and young people with Complex Needs
- Offer clinical expertise within a specified clinical area
- Manage and carry own case load within a specified clinical area
- Provide a safe, client centred, effective and evidence-based therapy service in the community setting
- Deliver clinical activities, supported by a robust competency framework, to children within their own home and other settings such as school/ early years or a clinical environment

Working Environment
You will be part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team (MDT), which may include Paediatricians, Orthotists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Physiotherapists.
