Specialist Clinical Pharmacist - Band 7
36 hours per week. Permanent.
Salary: £52,845 - £61,466 per annum plus £1,461 and Distant Islands Allowance per annum.
Role Overview
Join a friendly, highly motivated multidisciplinary team at Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway. The role is part of a growing pharmacy team, working alongside pharmacists and technicians to provide clinical pharmacy services across several wards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy service to multiple wards within Western Isles Hospital.
- Contribute to the development of patient-focused pharmacy services.
- Participate in new projects including the front-door service, Hospital at Home, and remote services to other archipelago hospitals.
- Collaborate closely with Primary Care Pharmacy colleagues to enhance safe patient transitions across boundaries of care.
- Support the installation of Omnicell medicine vending machines and the dispensary refit project.
- Assessor and register with the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG).
