Growing With You

Growing With You is part of the Camden CAMHS and is a 0-25 team working with Camden Children Looked After, Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers and Care Experienced Young People. It is a multi-disciplinary specialist team which is co-located with social workers from the Local Authority Children Looked After and Permanency Teams.

The post holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that assesses mental health needs; advises on appropriate mental health provisions, risk management; care planning and provides interventions and therapeutic support to children, young people and their carers. The team has a community approach and will provide a range of interventions in an attempt to engage and support this group of young people to develop relationships with professionals.

The team promotes joint working between different agencies and works in partnership with carers and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people, whilst maintaining professional independence.

The post holder will hold a caseload of highly complex service users.

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of evidenced based care to a group of service users, conscious of their changing healthcare needs and varying levels of complexity, working collaboratively, with other clinicians and stakeholders.
