Job Description

Position Overview:

Freshworks is looking for a highly creative and tech-savvy Learning Experience Designer to join our expanding Revenue Enablement team. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and development of impactful, measurable learning programs and resources that empower Freshworks teams to engage with and sell our products effectively. You'll partner closely with our Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to create educational content and training materials that enhance sales performance and product knowledge. With knowledge of adult learning principles, you'll create engaging and effective learning solutions in collaboration with subject matter experts and key stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to shape the learning experiences that fuel our sales, partner, and customer success teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Curriculum Design: Work effectively with partner teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design e-learning curriculum using AGILE methodologies.
  • Global Scalable Training: Design cutting-edge training (live in-person, live virtual, and asynchronous) that can be scaled globally, including exercises, tutorials, job aids, knowledge assessments, social or connected learning strategies, and multimedia-based assets.
  • Information Architecture: Write and structure information to have a logical flow and be easily understood, taking into account learning science principles.
  • Instructional Design: Use eLearning authoring tools to design online learning experiences, with a focus on content structure, clarity, effective writing, and visual design.
  • Visual Design: Produce high-quality image and video assets in alignment with our brand standards and best practices.
  • Ongoing Quality Assessment: Continuously evaluate solutions for quality, scalability, behavioral impact, and business impact.
  • Technology-Enhanced Learning: Leverage technology to enhance learner access to materials and provide just-in-time learning opportunities. Continually innovate learning technology to create engaging, memorable experiences.
  • Innovative Learning Solutions: Stay updated on learning approaches, technology, and tools through continuous research, ensuring that our solutions remain innovative.
  • Outcome-Oriented Assessment: Develop assessments that effectively measure learner outcomes and performance.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience designing online instructional activities, live workshops, learning experiences (including interactive eLearning modules and job aids) to support adult learners
  • Working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Exceptional visual design skills with a portfolio of graphic design, digital art, and/or instructional design assets
  • Experience creating learning evaluation plans
  • Strong knowledge of inclusive and accessible design, including WCAG
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning
