Specialist Dietitian - Frailty & Malnutrition Service (North Staffordshire)

We're looking for an experienced dietitian to lead the clinical delivery of a new 12-month pilot service tackling malnutrition and frailty in care homes and the community across North Staffordshire.

This is an autonomous role - you'll diagnose using GLIM criteria, lead food-first care plans, and help build the evidence base that shapes future commissioning decisions.

The Details:

  • Location: North Staffordshire - in-person
  • Hours: 0.6 WTE (22.5 hrs/week)
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term, 12 months
  • Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum FTE (£18,000 - £27,000 pro rata) depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Autonomous specialist assessments and malnutrition diagnosis (GLIM criteria)
  • Leading individualised, food-first care plans across care homes and community caseloads
  • Clinical supervision of our Nutrition Assistant
  • Collecting outcome data that will directly inform the service's future

  • HCPC registration
  • 3+ years post-registration experience
  • A full UK driving licence
