Experienced Dietitian Position
We are seeking an experienced Dietitian to join our diverse dietetic team. The post will also be suitable as a band 5 to 6 progression post as preceptorship, training and development can be provided.
You will contribute to the delivery of acute dietetic services at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust and whilst primarily based at the Diana Princess of Wales hospital in Grimsby, there will be a requirement to work at Scunthorpe General Hospital or Goole and District Hospital when required.
You will use specialist dietetic knowledge to undertake nutritional assessment and treatment of patients who may have complex and/or chronic presentation, determining clinical diagnosis and the dietetic treatment.

You will work closely with other members of multidisciplinary teams (MDT) including attendance where required at best interest meetings and MDT meetings.
To be actively involved in the implementation of specific changes to practice and contribute to service development.
To provide support and supervision to junior dietitians acting as a preceptor as well as providing support to dietetic learners and other non-registered department members as required.
