About us:

getUBetter is the market leader in digital-self management support for musculoskeletal conditions in the UK and we continue to grow our NHS and non-NHS coverage. Our mission is to guide people to effectively self-manage and only use healthcare services when it is going to benefit them. This improves outcomes for people and helps the NHS and services to be as efficient as possible. Right now, there is an absolute need to support patients to self-manage, increase capacity, and use digital technology like getUBetter to reimagine and reinvent the delivery of care. We help NHS and non-NHS organisations support people to self-manage their injuries or conditions, enabling patients to trust their recovery, have the confidence to self-manage, return to or stay in work and get better without over treatment.

To support this, we are looking for a dynamic physiotherapist, with the equivalent band 7 level of occupational physiotherapy experience, to join our team of clinicians.

About the role:

As a getUBetter clinician you will work closely with our Chief Clinical Officer and collaboratively in a team of clinicians, project managers, transformational change experts and developers to create and maintain a clinical service that is already impacting and bringing benefit to many people in the UK. Our technology compliments existing patient services, so in role you will draw upon your clinical knowledge and experience to contribute, execute and maintain excellent clinical delivery of our digital health technology, getUBetter.

As a senior clinician, this means you will provide expertise to a varied group of professionals, teams and our clinical customers. You will need to explain, train and present our in-app clinical content, so all understand the value of our pathways. You will lead clinical onboarding of our pathways to new customers, building their assurance and trust in the getUBetter team and content. As part of a growing business, you will need to be flexible and open to multiple challenges. You may need to complete a range of different tasks daily, that pull on both your clinical and non-clinical skillset and experiences. The role is a key contributor to the projected scale and innovation of the getUBetter product, particularly into the non-NHS space. Your research and knowledge will be vital in driving the evolution of patient facing digital content and presenting externally to key stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
