Salary: £27,000-£32,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until March 2027, subject to extension
Location: London / Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
Are you passionate about supporting Black and minoritised women affected by domestic abuse and violence against women and girls?
AWRC is looking for a compassionate and experienced Specialist Floating Support Advocate to provide high-quality, trauma-informed advocacy and support to survivors across London as part of the GLA Pan-London Floating Support Service partnership.
You will work directly with survivors to undertake risk and needs assessments, develop safety and support plans, provide crisis intervention and advocacy, and help women access housing, welfare, health, legal and other specialist services. You will also work closely with MARAC, Social Care and other partner agencies to safeguard women and children and coordinate effective support.

We're looking for someone with experience of:
- supporting women affected by domestic abuse, forced marriage, so-called honour-based abuse or harmful practices;
- providing advice, advocacy or casework to Black and minoritised women;
- risk assessment, safety planning and crisis management;
- safeguarding and multi-agency working;
- managing high-volume referrals or caseloads; and
- working effectively with partner organisations and stakeholders.
