Our Vacancy

Are you passionate about helping younger people, adults with disabilities, and people experiencing mental health challenges live independently?

As a Specialist Housing Officer, you'll provide housing management support to customers across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, helping them sustain their tenancies, access services and achieve positive outcomes. This is a community-based role with regular travel across the region, attendance at team meetings in Houghton Regis, and occasional travel to Westminster.

This is a permanent, part-time role working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a patch of specialist housing schemes, delivering an excellent housing management service.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, support providers and local partners.
  • Support customers to sustain tenancies and live independently.
  • Resolve tenancy, estate and neighbourhood issues, aiming for first-time resolution.
  • Carry out estate inspections and ensure schemes remain safe, clean and well maintained.
  • Monitor cleaning, gardening and estate services, challenging poor performance where needed.
  • Support customers with repairs reporting and maintenance issues.
  • Work closely with Care & Support teams to deliver joined-up services.
  • Manage voids, allocations, viewings and tenancy sign-ups.
  • Complete tenancy visits, identify support needs and signpost to appropriate services.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management information.
  • Contribute to service targets, compliance requirements and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
