SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Integration SME
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: Competitive Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Rockford Payroll

Contract Length: Until March 2027
The SAP SuccessFactors to SAP ECC BIB Replication Payroll SME will co-lead the design, delivery, testing, and cutover of the integration between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP ECC Payroll within a large and complex programme. The role requires deep expertise in SAP BIB replication configuration, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HR data models, payroll processes, and end-to-end integration delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with HR, IT, business stakeholders, and the wider integrations workstream to ensure a secure, compliant, and high-quality payroll integration solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-lead the delivery of the SAP SuccessFactors to SAP ECC payroll integration.
- Collaborate with HR and IT leaders throughout delivery, testing, and cutover phases.
- Provide expert guidance on integration best practices, solution architecture, and payroll design.
- Ensure accurate replication of SuccessFactors Employee Central employee master data and time data into SAP HR.
- Lead and support payroll parallel runs, analyse results, and reconcile payroll outcomes.
- Work as part of the wider integrations workstream to ensure alignment across dependent systems and processes.
- Lead testing cycles including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and payroll comparison testing.
- Drive payroll go-live readiness and support defect resolution through to closure.
- Coordinate cutover planning and execution activities for go-live.
- Establish and uphold governance frameworks for code releases, compliance, and security.
- Ensure GDPR, data privacy, payroll compliance, and audit controls are embedded throughout the solution.
- Provide guidance and support to the development team on integration design and issue resolution.
- Advise on cutover scenarios and readiness considerations for go-live.
- Review technical design documents, interface specifications, and mapping sheets.
- Analyse functional requirements and assess technical feasibility and impact on SAP ECC6.
- Lead design workshops covering payroll integration, mapping of SuccessFactors Employee Central fields to SAP ECC6 infotype fields, and any required custom transformations or derivations.

Required Experience and Skills
- Extensive experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP ECC Payroll integration.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BIB replication configuration and related integration processes.
- Deep understanding of SAP HR data structures, infotypes, payroll processing, and employee master data.
- Proven experience leading payroll integration delivery in complex programme environments.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including SIT, UAT, regression, and payroll parallel testing.
- Experience supporting cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare activities.
- Ability to interpret functional requirements and translate them into technical and integration solutions.
- Experience reviewing technical design documents, mapping documents, and transformation rules.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence HR, IT, and business teams.
- Knowledge of GDPR, payroll compliance, audit controls, and data privacy requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple workstreams and manage dependencies effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on large-scale HR transformation or payroll implementation programmes.
- Prior involvement in SAP ECC6 payroll environments.
- Experience with governance, release management, and controls in regulated environments.
- Exposure to complex data mapping, derivation logic, and custom integration scenarios.
