SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting Specialist Learning Support Assistants for a number of long-term opportunities across Wigan.
We work with schools supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, so we're looking for experienced support staff who want more than day-to-day supply.
You could be supporting a pupil 1:1, working with a small group or providing additional support within the classroom.

Your experience could make a real difference
Depending on the placement, you may be supporting pupils with:
- Autism and communication needs
- SEMH
- Complex learning needs
- Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties
- Speech, language and communication needs
- Behavioural and engagement barriers
- Other SEND
You'll work alongside teachers and school staff to help pupils access learning, develop independence and feel more confident in school.
We're looking for someone who is
- Experienced working with children or young people with SEND
- Patient, calm and consistent
- Confident adapting support to individual needs
- A strong relationship builder
- Reliable and professional
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
