KAP Motor Group has proudly served Folkestone and the surrounding area for over 75 years, building a reputation for outstanding customer service and technical expertise.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Specialist Nissan Vehicle Technician to join our successful aftersales team.
If you are currently working for a Nissan retailer or have previous Nissan dealership experience, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Nissan vehicles to manufacturer standards, while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Advanced diagnostics and fault finding
- Mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs
- Warranty repairs and manufacturer campaigns
- Accurate completion of repair orders and manufacturer documentation
- Working closely with the Nissan Team Leader and Parts Department
- Maintaining excellent quality and efficiency standards

What we’re looking for
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification, or equivalent
- Previous Nissan dealership or specialist Nissan experience
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Experience using Nissan CONSULT diagnostic equipment preferred
- EV/Hybrid experience desirable
- MOT Tester qualification advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A professional attitude and pride in your workmanship

Working hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am–5:30pm, with a one-hour lunch break
- Saturday: 8:00am–1:00pm on a rota basis
- Job type: Full-time, Permanent
