Specialist of Fuel, Ops & Cargo, Supplier Management & Procurement
As our Specialist of Fuel, Ops & Cargo, Supplier Management & Procurement, you'll become a subject matter expert in these areas while managing small to medium value projects and agreements throughout their lifecycle, working flexibly across categories to optimize value in TUI Airline's aviation contracts.

About the Role
- You'll build subject matter expertise in fuel, operations and cargo, obtaining market intelligence and analyzing developments to identify savings opportunities while reviewing supplier quality and performance to contribute to category strategy.
- You'll manage the procurement process for medium to high value projects, leading negotiations with operational stakeholders while evaluating requests and challenging suppliers to provide innovative solutions.
- You'll oversee medium-to-high value contracts throughout their lifecycle, providing guidance on contractual matters while ensuring SM&P negotiations and contracts are reflected in relevant systems.
- You'll manage escalated contractual claims and disputes, developing long-term supplier relationships through regular performance reviews and analysis of operational risks based on market intelligence.
- You'll manage aviation fuel supply assurance and monitor regulatory compliance, supporting sustainable aviation fuel reporting and certification while overseeing the realization of emissions-related claims.
- You'll develop internal and external networks across SM&P, TUI Airline colleagues and suppliers, ensuring optimal outcomes while undertaking business travel for meetings and supplier visits as work is something you do, not somewhere you go.

About You
- You have a relevant undergraduate degree, a CIPS qualification or equivalent professional experience with proven experience in managing end-to-end procurement processes and coordinating inputs from different stakeholders.
- You're highly proficient in English with knowledge of other languages being desirable, and possess a commercial mindset that continually evaluates costs and benefits.
- You have solid numeric and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, including high proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis.
- You possess the ability to identify issues and key drivers through sound analysis and commercial acumen, challenging assumptions and thinking creatively to deliver innovative solutions.
- You're skilled in analyzing and managing contracts with effective communication and reporting abilities to tailor messaging for different stakeholders across multiple countries.
- You're capable of managing multiple projects with conflicting priorities to tight deadlines, able to develop networks throughout the business and industry while maintaining a 'can-do' attitude and working effectively under pressure.
