Job Description

We are delighted to announce this unique opportunity for a Specialist Orthodontist to join us at our hub and spoke site, Southampton Orthodontic Centre and New Forest Orthodontics.

With 24,000 UOAs available this is a rare opportunity with a substantial NHS contract and established therapy model already in place.

We are open to 1 high performing Specialist who can leverage the existing Therapists in a like-for-like way of working, we are also open to splitting this across more than 1 Specialist.

The Opportunity

Due to the retirement of our existing lead specialist, we now have this unique opportunity available at Southampton Orthodontic Centre and New Forest Orthodontics.

The practices are highly established specialist clinics in the Southampton area both with a fantastic team of colleagues with a dual site Practice Manager. A skilled and stable practice team where contract delivery has been achieved by using the existing therapy model. We’re now seeking specialists who would embrace this therapy model, taking on either the full contract, or sharing the units.

Southampton Orthodontic Centre has iTero scanner, OPG, USO and CEPH. Is located on the high street of Bedford place with many shops and cafes close by and just a 10 to 15 minute walk from Southampton Central station which has links to eg London and Portsmouth

New Forest is an affluent area with high patient demand. A 2 chair surgery with a bright waiting room and small lab. It has an iTero scanner, OPG & USO and is located at the end of the high street in Lymington, with many shops and cafes within a short walk. There are 2 train stations which connect to Brockenhurst for services to London Waterloo and other major cities.

  • A specialist who can work in a therapy led environment to achieve full efficiencies and delivery high standards of patient care
  • You may live in the area, or might be open to relocating for such a unique opportunity
  • We are seeking a proactive, team focused clinician who can continue the legacy of our retiring specialist, providing strong clinical leadership to achieve both contract delivery and a seamless patient journey
