Specialist Orthodontist / Dentist with Special Interest in Orthodontics

Private Dentistry | Central London | Flexible Sessions | Up to £155,000 Annualised Earning Potential + cases-started bonus

Engagement:

Self-Employed Associate

Sessions:

1–6 sessions, with scope to increase

Hours:

  • 08:00–13:30
  • 14:00–20:00

Earning Potential:

Up to approximately £155,000 annualised, depending on experience, hours and clinical commitment, plus a cases-started bonus


The Opportunity

ODL Dental Clinic and London Orthodontic Clinic are seeking an experienced Specialist Orthodontist or Dentist with a Special Interest in Orthodontics to join our 25+ award-winning private team in Central London.

Our newly developed London Orthodontic Clinic is a flagship Invisalign Experience Studio, a first of its kind to be in Europe.

We are particularly looking for a clinician with strong, demonstrable fixed-appliance experience, alongside experience managing Invisalign.

We understand experienced clinicians want flexibility. Choose from:

  • Morning session: 08:00–13:30
  • Afternoon/evening session: 14:00–20:00
  • Combine both sessions in one day to maximise your clinical hours and earning potential

Start with approximately 1–6 sessions. Opportunity to increase sessions over time as your patient book develops. This structure is ideal for clinicians looking to build a high-quality private orthodontic commitment around their existing schedule.

Remuneration & Earning Potential

This is a self-employed Associate position with an attractive, experience-based hourly rate.

Depending on your experience, agreed hours and clinical commitment, the role offers:

  • Up to approximately £155,000 annualised earning potential
  • Additional case-started bonus
  • Flexibility to increase your sessions and earning potential over time
  • The option to combine morning and afternoon sessions into a full clinical day

Full remuneration and incentive details will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a GDC-registered Specialist Orthodontist, or a Dentist with recognised postgraduate orthodontic training and substantial independent orthodontic experience
  • Have strong fixed-appliance orthodontic experience
  • Have personally led and completed at least 200 orthodontic cases from assessment through to completion
  • Have experience with Invisalign
  • Be professionally fluent in English and at least one additional language (Desirable)
  • Have the right to work in the UK

The minimum of 200 personally completed orthodontic cases and strong fixed-appliance experience are essential requirements for this position. Shortlisted candidates may be asked to discuss an appropriately anonymised case portfolio or case log.
