Band 6 / trainee Band 6 (Annex 21) Specialist Paediatric Cardiac Physiologist

36 hrs per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced cardiac physiologist to join our busy, dynamic team at the Royal Hospital for Children (RHC).

The Post Is Suitable For An Experienced Band 5 Physiologist Ready To Progress, Or An Existing Band 6 Seeking a New Challenge. Newly Qualified Cardiac Physiologists Who Do Not Yet Meet Band 6 Competencies May Be Considered Under Annex 21. Annex 21 Offers a Defined Development Pathway Toward Full Competency, Salary Progression, And Professional Growth. For Further Guidance On Annex 21 Please Follow This Link

RHC is the Scottish centre for cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology, and is also home to Scotland’s paediatric ECMO centre. Applicants should hold a degree in Cardiac Physiology, or an equivalent qualification, and have relevant experience. Working hours will vary depending on whether they are spread over four or five days. This post requires PVG Scheme membership/Disclosure Scotland clearance.
