Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

This is an excellent opportunity to join our forward thinking Pelvic Health physiotherapy team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals. This post is available as a Band 5 to Band 6 development post.

As part of the nation-wide NHS England review and transformation of perinatal health services, South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board joined the “fast-follower” phase of the project. The accreditation of our trust as part of this project has created an exciting opportunity for this role.

Alongside perinatal care, this post also offers the opportunity to work with patients in a variety of fields (obstetrics, gynaecology and breast surgery) in an outpatient setting, providing physiotherapy assessment and management of patients with a wide range of conditions. The successful applicant must be able to work autonomously and manage their time efficiently, as well as supporting assistant staff to manage a predominantly in-patient caseload.

We welcome applications from candidates with experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy who would like to further develop their skills in women’s health.

This post will primarily be based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, with the possibility of working across other hospital sites and community based clinics.

The physiotherapy service across Doncaster and Bassetlaw undertakes a number of out of hours services. The post holder will be assessed for suitability to support one of these services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
