The Rapid Assessment Therapy Service (RATS) - Senior Physiotherapist Opportunity
The Rapid Assessment Therapy Service (RATS) are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and driven individual to join the team. The individual must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills to support developing the service, to provide high quality, timely therapy assessment and interventions at the front door.
Role Overview
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will provide assessment, treatment, and management advice for patients within the therapy team, covering all front door areas; including:
- Prioritising/managing the daily caseload within the team
- Assessing and delivering therapy interventions
- Ensuring the highest professional standards of care are maintained
- Demonstrating adherence to the Trust Values
- Operating as a leader in the team, service, and organisation

- Provide specialist advice to therapy staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team and wider team.
- Use a client-centred approach to patient care.
- Participate in and provide clinical and management supervision and provide support through the Preceptorship program.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary team working.
- Contribute to and lead on service improvement and quality initiatives.
- Use the Trust electronic patient record system.
- Contribute to Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments.
- Abide by all Trust policies and procedures.
- Respond flexibly and creatively to challenges.
