Physiotherapist Opportunity in Community Rehabilitation Team
An opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team based in Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
About the Role
- Location: Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy
- Patients: Adults, mainly Older People
- Setting: Patients are seen in their own homes, homely setting or as an outpatient.
The team focus is on:
- Community rehabilitation
- Preventing unnecessary admission
- Supporting earliest possible discharge from hospital
- Enabling patients to remain as independent as possible in their homes
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the HCPC
- Experience: NHS experience of working with adults, mainly Older People
- Skills: Assessment and treatment knowledge and skills associated with this patient group
- Professional Development: Evidence of continuous professional development appropriate for the banding
- Experience: Evidence of involvement in audit and service development and experience of supervising junior staff for Band 6 level

Additional Information
- There may be occasions where you will be required to work in one of the other community hospital sites.
- The ability to travel throughout the area is essential as part of this post is community based.
- Public Holiday working is in operation (accept Christmas Day and New Year’s Day).
- Interviews will take place face to face.
