Specialist Radiographer Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Specialist Radiographer who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
About the Role
The Centre is a specialist imaging unit (MRI, CT, PET/CT) with a large research commitment which requires highly specialised imaging knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficiency in at least one of the modalities - CT/MRI/PETCT.
- Closely linked with the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, a large proportion of the workload is oncology related.
- Ability to communicate highly complex information and provide reassurance to patients.
- Regular participation in research and clinical trial activities.
- High levels of flexibility and professional autonomy.
- Adaptable rotation through all three imaging modalities in the Centre.
Interview Requirements
If selected to interview, you will be asked to prepare a short presentation (10 mins) entitled: "Clinical Governance and Safety in CT or MRI or PETCT (choose one modality): The role of the Band 6 radiographer."

- High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,552 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata.
