Specialist Retail Account Manager - London/South
Role Summary

- Do you want to represent the UK most desired artisanal brand portfolio across Specialist and Prestigious retailers?
If you do, then we are looking for a Specialist Retail Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of our impressive portfolio across Specialist Retail customers in London and South. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding the distribution, visibility and activation of our premium portfolio within Specialist Retailers and make a meaningful and real contribution to the overall channel performance.
The role is field based, and it is expected that around 80% of your time will be spent in trade, visiting existing and new customers and being the “face” of Marussia across your area. You must be based in or close to London and this role reports to the Specialist Retail Controller. The required work hours to fulfil this role are Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, however flexibility is given and will be required for evenings and weekends and travel time as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Your Role & Responsibilities
- Manage an account base of new & existing Specialist Retail customers
- Plan in advance, visiting customers on appropriate cycle to ensure coverage
- Capture all aspects of daily activity and customer activity on Bowimi to ensure visibility
- Deliver Volume, Distribution, Visibility and Activation targets at brand level
- Key customers – “win with the winners” – ensuring we are working closely with key customers who can help achieve our goals
- New Business - regular prospecting to achieve goals and targets through new customers
- Think commercially and have a strong grasp on your customers to inform both volume and spend forecasts
- Be passionate about our brands and in turn become an ambassador for our brands
- Work in a fast-paced environment and react quickly where needed as well as meet monthly and quarterly deadlines
- Manage a broad workload – large portfolio, multiple categories, large territory
- Be a team player and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply and Finance to ensure a joined-up approach to deliver our plans
- Help inform the Specialist Retail channel and brand strategy across key brands.
Skills & qualifications
- Good computer skills with a strong working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office
- Must hold a valid UK driving license
- Comfortable working with a CRM system – prior experience of Bowimi helpful

- Salary: Based on experience
